Tehila dress

£189.00

The "Tehila" dress combines contemporary patterns with the classic 1950s silhouette – fitted bodice, hourglass-seamed waist, and full, gently pleated skirt to create an elegant and refreshing contrast. A wide cotton belt ties around the waist to finish the look. You can double wrap the waist-cinching belt tie it at the back to create a smooth silhouette or tie it at the front for a fun couture look.

The fabric pattern, "Anderson", is largely inspired by the beautifully detailed blackwork embroidery designs that adorn the garments of the aristocracy in Hans Holbein’s paintings. Blackwork is a form of embroidery seen during the Tudor period that is most known for its use of black thread to form a large floral pattern motif. "Anderson" is a contemporary adaptation of this classic style.
